Project Overview
For this project, we were tasked with designing an injection-molded object.
As a group, we designed a T-Rex keychain with movable arms and legs.
The project involved:
- 3D CAD modeling of the T-Rex
- Injection molding simulation to analyze feasibility
- CAM programming for milling the mold
Since we were allowed to mill only one half of the mold, we innovatively decided to attach two body halves together to form a fully 3D T-Rex.
